Image Quality and The Moral Maze

Here is another camera phone shot (further proving the sense behind the purchase...). The woman seemed completely absorbed in her thoughts, despite being in the middle of Glasgow during a busy lunch-hour.

I thinks she looks like a visitor to the city. Tourists aren't a particulary common sight here so they do tend to stick out a bit. I often wonder why they choose to come to Glasgow. One of the things I like about this city is that it is more a place for the residents than the visitors.

Anyway, back to the photo itself... I wasn't sure whether or not to post this because the woman didn't know I was taking her picture. This issue which arises with every street shot I take but it seemed particularly relevant to this one picture. Perhaps because she is the only face in the frame, I don't know why. Maybe it is simply down to the quality of the picture itself. If it was perfectly framed with expert use of depth of field I would have no qualms whatsoever, I would see her more as an image rather than a person.
